In this session, we'll discuss the basics of using the Sphero RVR to drive across terrains, connect hardware, code using sensors, and even play games. Expanding ELL Vocabulary Through STEM

Are you struggling to find the right tools to bridge the gap between STEM and ELL vocabulary? We know that teaching ELLs outside of the English classroom can be challenging, but communicating through STEM subjects can make it that much easier! In this session, we'll discuss strategies to increase acquisition of academic English language through STEM and NGSS across all grade levels. We will also learn how STEM literacy and English Language Learner literacy can be used productively together.

Start your pi-top adventure with our first project-based session! We'll dig into Scratch 2, and how you can leverage this great coding resource on your pi-top 3. Together, we'll learn basic code blocks and make our first Scratch game.

Let's Create a Sphero Jack-o-Lantern

Looking for a technology-infused Halloween activity for your classroom? In this session, we'll guide you through an interactive lesson on how to "dress up" your Sphero and program it to be a spooky Jack-o-lantern!
