Meghan taught for over 20 years as a middle school and high school English teacher in the NYC DOE. She has also used her expertise to mentor and advocate for her fellow teachers. Meghan has her bachelor’s in comparative literature and a master’s in English. When not delivering PD or writing curriculum, she enjoys writing poetry as well as listening to and playing music

As educators, we are always looking for new ways to engage students in the learning process. During this course, we'll give you a basic overview of Padlet and how to use it. We'll also give you some tips on how to use Padlet to elevate the learning experience such as introducing new topics, virtual gallery walks, and reading logs.
Strengthening Social Skills with Robotics
During this session, we will look at the ways in which robots can help students develop and strengthen their social skills. We will examine specific activities that can be done to foster this in the classroom. Additionally, we’ll demonstrate how to use different robotics kits to improve social interaction between students.
